This book also offers a basic orientation through the numerous tubes, lines and system components installed on a complex turbofan engine.
Within this book you will find information on the operation of engine systems, the functions of their components and the terminology used throughout the industry. The engine systems are explained using examples selected from today’s engines. As a result, you will be made familiar with the current technology in this field. The examples include various engines from different manufacturers. About the Author
Andreas Linke-Diesinger started his aeronautical carreer as an aircraft mechanic. In 1986 he earned his degree in aeronautical engineering at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. He has several years' experience as an instructor for engine and aircraft type training at Lufthansa Technical Training. He is currently working for the propulsion systems engineering department of Lufthansa Technik
He holds a commercial pilot's licence with an IFR rating (CPL(A)/IR) and a flight instructor training.

Great Resource - Wish I Had It Before

This book is a great resource for covering aero material concisely. I've seen tomes that have covered less useful information. I wish I'd had it before doing aero work. Only a few chapters (e.g., icing) appeared rushed or too brief, but the others make up for them. If you're likely to be starting in working with controls software related to aero or aero-derivatives, this is a great place to start.

Too few information for that price. The book is very small, few pages, basic info.
It looks more like been written by a student as part of scolarship assignment.
